Sean Banks

Sean Banks brings experience and dedication to his role as head football coach at South Kitsap High School. With over eight years of coaching experience, Banks has proven himself as a strategic and passionate leader in high school football.

Coach Banks' expertise lies in defensive coordination, having served as the Defensive Coordinator for Lincoln High School in Tacoma, WA (2019, 2021-22) and South Kitsap High School (2017-2018). His responsibilities have included building defensive schemes, formulating scouting reports, and implementing comprehensive game plans.

Beyond his coaching acumen, Banks has a strong background in education. He currently serves as an Emotional Behavior Disorder Teacher in the K.I.T Program at South Kitsap High School, where he helps meet the individual cognitive, social, and emotional needs of students. 

Banks holds a B.A. in Special Education and a B.A. in Health and Physical Fitness from Central Washington University. His dedication to excellence was recognized early in his career when he received the "Rookie Teacher of the Year" award at South Kitsap High School for the 2015-16 academic year.

With his extensive experience in both football strategy and youth development, Coach Banks continues to focus on fostering the growth and success of student-athletes both on and off the field at South Kitsap High School.
