Jamie Ford
Jamie Ford brings a wealth of experience and a track record of success to her role as Head Cheer Coach at South Kitsap High School. With over five years of coaching experience at the high school level, including roles as both assistant and head coach, Ford has demonstrated her ability to develop championship-caliber programs.
During her tenure at Central Kitsap High School, Ford led her teams to the WIAA State Championships every year, culminating in an impressive 2nd place finish in 2015. Her coaching prowess was recognized by her peers when she was named Coach of the Year in 2014 by the Washington State Cheer Coaches Association (WSCCA).
Ford's approach to coaching goes beyond just competition success. She is dedicated to cultivating a sense of pride in her athletes, not just for their team and sport, but for their school and the greater Port Orchard community. Her program focuses on developing leadership and life skills in student-athletes, preparing them for success both on and off the mat.
With a Master's degree in Bioethics from Ohio State University and a background in healthcare, Ford brings a unique perspective to athlete health and safety. Her experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse enhances her ability to prioritize the well-being of her athletes.
