Michael Reese
Michael Reese brings a wealth of baseball experience and local ties to the South Kitsap High School baseball program. A 1992 graduate of South Kitsap, Reese was a standout shortstop under legendary coach Elton Goodwin, earning 1st Team All-League honors.
Reese continued his playing career at Central Washington University, where he served as team captain and started every game at shortstop during his junior year. His coaching journey began in 1997 with West Sound Baseball, launching nearly two decades of baseball instruction in Kitsap County.
From 1999-2001, Reese led the Bainbridge High School baseball program to a 49-16 record and three state playoff appearances. His efforts earned him Olympic League Coach of the Year honors in 1999. Reese then transitioned to the collegiate level, serving as Head Baseball Coach at Olympic Community College for three seasons.
Reese's commitment to youth development is evident in his work with West Hills Vipers from 2007-2016, where he oversaw seven youth teams per season and served as Director of Baseball Operations for an indoor training facility in Kitsap County.
Off the field, Reese holds an MBA and brings extensive marketing and management experience from his tenure with Haselwood Auto Group. His diverse skill set and deep roots in the local baseball community make him a valuable addition to the South Kitsap coaching staff.
