Karly Easterday

South Kitsap High School is thrilled to welcome Karly Easterday as the new head coach of our girls golf program for the 2024-2025 academic year. Coach Easterday brings a wealth of playing experience and coaching expertise to the Wolves, positioning our team for an exciting future on the links.

Easterday's golf journey includes competing at the collegiate level for Corban University, where she honed her skills against top-tier talent. This first-hand experience as a student-athlete provides her with valuable insights that will benefit our young golfers both on and off the course.

Coach Easterday's academic background is equally impressive. She holds a Master's degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Corban University. This strong analytical foundation promises to translate into data-driven strategies for improving our athletes' performance.

Prior to joining the Wolves, Easterday served as an Assistant Golf Coach at Olympic College since 2021. There, she developed crucial skills in program management, player development, and recruitment – experience that will be invaluable as she takes the helm of our program.

In addition to her coaching duties, Easterday brings a educator's perspective to her role, having worked as a Math Teacher in the South Kitsap School District since 2020. This dual background underscores her commitment to nurturing well-rounded student-athletes who excel both on the golf course and in the classroom.

As she embarks on her first season with the Wolves, Coach Easterday aims to:

- Implement innovative practice techniques to enhance player skills

- Foster a team culture that emphasizes personal growth and collective achievement

- Strengthen our recruitment efforts to attract top local talent

With her blend of competitive playing experience, coaching acumen, and passion for education, Coach Easterday is poised to lead South Kitsap's girls golf program into an exciting new era. We look forward to the positive impact she'll have on our student-athletes and the success she'll bring to our program in the seasons to come.
